I did my initial flight training on this aircraft in 1967 with the Canberra Aero Club. After 6 hours my instructor successfully sent me solo. After a few more hours on this and VH-CBB I mostly flew the new 150's the club had purchased. I did however do my Restricted PPL licence check flight in this plane and got put through the wringer by Chief Instructor Ron Pill. Luckily I passed and found out in the process that in a steep left hand banking climb with full power and 20 deg flap that the right wing drops when it finally stalls!
